Quip Rental Agreement, Waiver of Liability and Release
Effective Date: September 29, 2022
Please read this document carefully as it sets forth legally binding terms and conditions for your use of services provided by Quip LLC.
By utilizing services you (“user”, “renter”, or “customer”) acting on behalf of family, affiliates, agents, co-workers) agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this document including liability of release.
For purposes hereof, “we”, “us”, or ”our” shall refer to Quip LLC.
Use of services will require use of the rentquips.com website. By utilizing the website application you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in regards to the site’s privacy policy and information utilized including but not limited to names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, passwords, and payment information.
This agreement contains releases, disclaimers, and assumption-of-risk provisions that may limit your legal rights and remedies.
For safety reasons, the maximum rental period shall consist of no more than 7 days (168 hours) from the time the rental period starts. Rentals that are not canceled by the user within this time frame may be canceled by Quip. The user will be asked to conclude their use of equipment and pay for services received.
Upon ending a rental period, user must immediately conclude their use of rented equipment. Equipment shall be returned by placing it in a location that does not prohibit parking, does not block a right of way, and provides adequate access for the next customer.
All applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to: traffic, pedestrians, and parking, must be obeyed.
Any damages or issues with rented equipment must immediately be reported to Quip via email at help@rentquips.com.
In the event of a collision, user must immediately report the accident by visiting:

General Rental and Use of Equipment
User is the sole user: The individual that rents equipment from Quip shall be the only party to utilize the equipment during the rental period and is responsible for compliance with all terms and conditions herein. User is prohibited from allowing other parties from using equipment rented by them.
User must be at least 18 years of age: User represents and certifies that the individual is at minimum 18 years old.
You are responsible for competency: User will be provided basic instructions for how to use equipment and should read all instructions thoroughly. By renting equipment, you assume all responsibility for risks, injuries, or accidents. You are responsible for determining whether conditions including, but not limited to, rain, fog, snow, hail, ice, or thunder, may make it hazardous to operate equipment.
Equipment is exclusive property of Quip: You agree to not dismantle, deface, repair, or modify in any way, equipment rented from Quip.
Area of operation: Customer agrees that under no circumstances may equipment be operated outside the state of Arizona. Quip LLC reserves the right to refuse service to customers in the event that equipment that has been moved outside of the area of operation.
User must follow all applicable laws regarding use: Customer will follow all laws pertaining to the operation of trailers on Arizona roads including hitching, towing, parking, weight restrictions, and speed limits.
User agrees to the following:
· User agrees to never transport hazardous materials including but not limited to corrosives, explosives, or flammable liquids, on rented equipment.
· User agrees to not make use of any electronic device that may impair the user’s ability to safely operate rented equipment.
· The use of equipment while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication, or any other substance that impairs your ability to operate equipment is strictly prohibited.
· Towing vehicle must have valid liability insurance policy with minimum coverage for the state in which the vehicle is registered.
· Equipment shall never be utilized to transport animals or people.
· Only the provided padlock is to be used to lock equipment and should be in place at all times. Never should you make use of your own locking mechanism.
· When using or returning equipment, equipment must be parked in a location that does not prohibit parking, does not block a right of way, and provides adequate access for the next customer if applicable.
· Returned equipment shall be placed in a public location that is visible, safe, and provides easy access for the next customer.
Equipment limited by type of use: User agrees that trailers will not be used for racing, off-roading, or other similar activities. Further, user will not operate off-road or pull equipment through water such as through flooded areas. Additionally, user shall not operate equipment in a way that is prohibited, illegal, or in a way that is a nuisance to others.
Weight and cargo limits: User will abide by weight and cargo restrictions for each trailer as well as the towing capacity of their own personal vehicle. Customer also agrees to secure all cargo to ensure equipment can be operated safely.
Your automotive insurance policy may not cover damage to rented equipment. You should contact your insurance company to determine whether your policy covers rented equipment. In the event of an accident, you be be required to reimburse Quip for any and all damages.
Reporting damages, accidents, or traffic violations: Customer must report an accident, crash, damage, injury, property damage, or stolen equipment to Quip immediately. If the accident results in damage or injury, user must file a report with the local police department within twenty-four hours. As a user, you agree to be responsible and liable for any misuse, consequence, claims, demands, causes of action, losses, liabilities, damages, injuries, costs, penalties, attorney’s fees, judgements, suits, or disbursements of any kind related to use of equipment.
· Your automotive insurance policy may not cover damage to rented equipment. You should contact your insurance company to determine whether your policy covers rented equipment. In the event of an accident, you be be required to reimburse Quip for any and all damages
Damage to equipment: Quip LLC reserves the right to charge customer for any damages including vandalism, theft, and water damage up to the value of the equipment. User is not responsible for wear and tear that occur from ordinary use.
Tracking: Each Quip rental is equipped with GPS devices including but not limited to: GPS trackers, mobile phones, and Airtags. By renting equipment, user permits Quip to track the location of the unit during the rental period. Customer may not tamper or disconnect any part of this system in any way.
Locks: Each trailer has a padlock installed on the hitch latch. This lock is to remain in place at all times and shall only be removed when hitching or unhitching a trailer and promptly replaced. The lock must be installed on the hitch latch to return a rental and end a rental period. In the event that a subsequent customer reports a lock missing, we may charge the you a $10 service fee.
Connection requirement: User is required to have adequate internet connection capability to rent and return equipment. User will not be able to conclude their rental period without internet connectivity and Quip will continue to charge user until customer concludes their rental period.
Payment and Fees
Fees: Customer agrees to use services in accordance with the pricing schedule detailed on the rentquips.com. Prices will include a base charge plus taxes and fees in accordance with local jurisdictions. In Arizona, a 5% rental surcharge will be added to rental contracts. Quip, at its sole discretion, may choose to pay any traffic violations, impound fees, or fines and charge these fees back to the customer.
Example Fee Breakdown for an Arizona Rental:

Rental period: Rental periods function on a 24-hour subscription. A rental will begin when user places an order for equipment and will automatically renew after 24-hours for the next 24-hour period. Customer must return within 24 hours of the last rental period charge to avoid being charged for the next rental day.
Arizona Revised Statutes provide that upon failure to return rental equipment within 72 hours of the date and time specified for its return in this agreement, the lessee shall be subject to maximum, criminal penalty of imprisonment for not more than 2 years and fine of not more than $150,000 plus applicable user charges.
Payment: In order to receive services, customer must provide a valid credit or debit card, expiration date, email address, phone number, and other necessary information. User provides assurance they have authorization to use the credit card, debit card, or other payment method provided. By providing your payment information, you authorize Quip LLC to charge your account for all fees, taxes, and charges applicable to your use of our services.
If customer wishes to dispute any charges to their account, customer must contact customer service within 15 business days from the date the charges were incurred.
Recovery: Customer must return equipment to a location within the designated service area that has public access, located within a service area, and in the state of Arizona to end a rental period. Quip will continue to bill accounts at the daily rate for equipment that is outside of the drop area. To view current service areas visit:

Additional Terms of Use
Safety inspection: Before using equipment, user shall conduct a basic assessment of the trailer to ensure all necessary equipment is present including: the jack (if applicable), wire harness, safety chains, and brake lights. User then must connect trailer to the vehicle they wish to tow with and ensure that brake lights and turn signals are functioning properly. If signal or brake lights are not working or there is any damage to the equipment, user must contact customer service immediately.
Lost or stolen equipment: Trailers will be determined to lost or stolen if they are moved immediately following the conclusion of a rental period, the GPS unit has been disabled, the trailer has been placed on unauthorized private property after the rental period, or other facts or circumstances that suggest that equipment has been lost or stolen. Quip reserves the right to take any and all actions to obtain restitution and other appropriate compensation for damages including filing police reports with local law enforcement.
Availability guarantee: User agrees that Quip’s service availability is not guaranteed. Customer understands that services are available at convenience and only available to qualified individuals who have agreed to rent equipment in accordance with all terms and conditions. Further, Quip LLC will not be held liable for downtime, material losses, or other damages that result from the use of rented equipment.
Termination: Quip LLC reserves the right to cancel service without customer’s consent at any time and for any reason. User reserves the right to terminate services at anytime given no refund will be issued, terms of this agreement continue to be in effect, and user will continue to be charged any and all fees incurred. The terms set forth in this document will remain in full force regardless of how the agreement is terminated.
Privacy policy: User understands and agrees to the use of all personal information provided to Quip LLC by the customer in accordance with the privacy policy.
